Supharma Chem is located at Plot No. 4705/2/3 4 in the GIDC Estate. It’s a large plot compared to some of the others around us. Dealing with chemicals means we have to be a bit more careful than the machine shops down the road. We spend a lot of time checking containers and making sure everything is stored where it belongs. The air always has a bit of a sharp smell to it, which you get used to after a week or two. Our staff wears protective gear, so it’s not the most comfortable place to be when the humidity is high. We have a lot of plastic drums and glass jars sitting on pallets waiting to be moved. The paperwork is the most annoying part because there are so many numbers to keep track of. We don't really have a big reception area; if someone comes to visit, they usually just meet us near the loading dock. The GIDC estate is a noisy place with trucks constantly reversing and horns honking. We try to keep our area as organized as we can, but it’s a constant battle against the daily clutter of an active business. There isn't anything glamorous about it. We just follow the steps we’ve been doing for years and hope the power stays on so we can finish the batches. It’s a steady rhythm that we have all grown accustomed to over time.
