Yadav Kirana Store

Yadav Kirana Store is right in Lulhara Village, which is part of the Nadbai Tehsil in Bharatpur. We are very easy to spot because we are situated right near the railway fatak. You can hear the trains passing by all day and night, which is something you just get used to after a while. The store is where most people from the village come to get their daily supplies like flour, sugar, oil, and spices. It’s not a big supermarket with bright lights; it’s just a local shop with shelves packed to the ceiling. We open early in the morning because that’s when people are heading out to the fields or catching a train. It gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is back and needs something for dinner. We don’t have a website or any fancy ordering system. People just walk in, tell us what they need, and we weigh it out for them. Sometimes we run out of things if the delivery truck is late, but usually, we have the basics covered. It’s a bit dusty because of the road and the trains, but we try to keep the counters clean. My family has been around here for a long time, so we know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s more of a community spot than just a store. We just keep things running the way they always have, one bag of grain at a time.
