Shree Shankar Enterprises is situated inside Geeta Mandir Bhawan. If you are in Deeg, we are right across the road from the Jalmahal. It is a very well-known area, so we see many people walking past our place every day. We have been here for a good number of years now, just handling our business day in and day out. The building we are in has a lot of history, and we feel lucky to be working in such a place. Seeing the Jalmahal every time we step outside is something special, even when we are tired from a long day. Our setup is very basic and we don't have any fancy equipment or a big staff. It is just a few of us focusing on the work that comes in from the local community. It can get quite noisy with all the tourists visiting the palace, but we have learned to tune it out over time. We don't have any marketing plans or big ads, we just rely on people finding us as they go about their day near the temple. It is a simple way to make a living and we enjoy talking to the different people who stop by. Deeg is a nice place to live and work, and being right in front of the palace makes us feel like we are right where we need to be.
