Pratigyan Social Welfare Foundation

Pratigyan Social Welfare Foundation is based out of Baretha, specifically in the Panchsohatha North part of the village. If you ask for Pritam Choudhary, most people can point you to the right house. We are in the Falka Block area, which is a busy place with a lot of farming going on. Our foundation doesn’t have a flashy office with big signs. We mostly meet at the house or out in the village where the work is actually happening. It’s more of a community effort than a formal business. We have been living in Baretha all our lives, so we know what the struggles are like for the people here. We spend our time checking in on neighbors and seeing if there are ways to make the social welfare programs actually reach the people who need them. Sometimes the paperwork is a mess, and we help people figure that out. Other times, it is just about being there when someone is going through a hard time. We don't use big words or have complicated meetings. We just sit down, have some tea, and figure out what needs to be done next. It’s honest work, and we are proud to do it right here in our own block. Being in the North part of Baretha keeps us close to everyone who matters. We aren't doing anything special, just helping out where we can in our own little corner of Falka.
