Photographers Guide

You can find us at No. 54 in Gauri-Shankar Colony, which is right near Sarus Circle. Photographers Guide is a small place where we keep all our gear. There are tripods in the corners and lenses sitting on the desks. It’s not a big studio with fancy lights everywhere, just a practical space. We spend a lot of time looking at prints and talking about lighting. The colony is usually quiet, which is nice when we’re trying to focus. We started this because we liked taking pictures and it just grew from there. It’s not a big business with a bunch of departments. It’s just us. Sometimes the floor is covered in backdrops and cables. If you're coming from Sarus Circle, it's just a short walk. We don't always keep regular hours because we might be out shooting somewhere else. We do a lot of local events and portraits for people in the neighborhood. The walls are covered with some of the work we’ve done over the years. It’s a bit of a mix of styles. We don't use any fancy marketing talk. We just show people how to use their cameras better or take the photos they need. It’s a relaxed environment, and we usually have some tea going.
