Jolly No. 1

Jolly No. 1 is over here in the Vt Kumer area. It is a place that many people in the neighborhood know because we have been around for a while now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular structure along the street. Inside, it usually smells like whatever we are working on that day. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing fancy slogans for us. It is just a few of us making sure things get done. Some days are much busier than others. You might find us drinking chai and waiting for the next person to walk through the door when it is quiet. Vt Kumer has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. The name Jolly No. 1 came about quite some time ago and it just stuck. People call us by that name and we answer to it. We keep our records in old ledgers and sometimes on the computer when we have to. The lighting inside can be a bit dim in the afternoons, but we are used to it. We don't spend much time worrying about how the shop looks to outsiders. As long as we can find what we need and help the people who come in, we are satisfied. It is a simple life here and we like the routine of opening up every morning and seeing who stops by to chat.
