G T Doors

Our shop is on Mathura Road, right near the Choudhary Dharamshala in the old industrial area. We make and sell doors of all kinds. If you walk in, you’ll see stacks of wood and metal frames leaning against the walls. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We have been working with doors for a long time, so we know which ones hold up and which ones don't. The traffic on Mathura Road is always heavy, so there is a constant hum of cars outside. We have a small workshop in the back where we do some of the finishing. It’s a hands-on business. My hands are usually covered in sawdust or some kind of stain by noon. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. It’s just the shop where we keep the stock. People come in, tell us what size they need, and we show them what we’ve got ready to go. If we don't have it, we see if we can get it. We are just regular people making a living. The Dharamshala is a good landmark, so most folks don't have trouble finding us. We keep the doors open to let the air in, even when it’s noisy. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us and the customers who have been coming to us for years. We handle the deliveries ourselves most of the time. It is a bit of a struggle to get the big frames onto the truck, but we manage.
