Gurukripa Stones

We spend most of our time out here in Village Murraki, right on the Bharatpur Road. If you drive past, you will see the piles of stone and the dust flying around when the wind picks up. It is a simple place where we handle different kinds of stone for building and stuff. My family has been doing this for a long time. We don't have a big fancy office or anyone in suits. It is just a yard with some sheds. Most days, we are out there checking the slabs or talking to the truck drivers who come in from the quarries. It gets pretty hot during the summer, so we take breaks under the big tree near the gate. People from the nearby villages come by when they are fixing up their houses. We show them what we have on hand. Sometimes the colors are a bit different from the last batch, but that is just how natural stone is. We try to be fair and just give people what they need without a lot of talk. The machines we use are loud and they need fixing every now and then. It is hard work, moving heavy blocks around, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of this local area and knowing our neighbors. You can usually find one of us sitting by the small desk near the entrance if you have questions. We might be a bit dusty when we come to help, but that is just the nature of this stone business.
