Jsr Bricks

Jsr Bricks is situated out in Village Jillundi, which is near the Bhanja Nagar Bridge. It is a bit of a drive to get here, but it is a good spot for what we do. The bridge is the main landmark people use to find us in the Dhamyam District. We spend our days out in the yard, working with the raw materials and getting the bricks ready. It is hard work and the sun doesn't make it any easier. The village is quiet for the most part, except for when we have the machines running or a truck is coming in to pick up a load. We don't have any fancy offices or air conditioning, just a basic shed where we keep our tools and some chairs for when we take a break. The dust from the brickwork is everywhere, on our clothes and on the trees nearby. We just go through the daily motions of making and stacking. Jillundi is a small place and everyone knows each other. Usually, we start early in the morning before the heat of the day really kicks in. By the time the sun goes down over the Bhanja Nagar Bridge, we are pretty tired and ready to head home. It is a simple business, nothing more than that. We just focus on the bricks and the piles of earth we have to move every single day. It’s a lot of work but it’s what we know.
