We're out here in Tumsar, in the Bhandara district of Maharashtra. Our place is in Vinoba Bhave Nagar, right across from the Sai Mandir. If you're local, you probably know the temple well. It’s a landmark for everyone around here. We work under the Sobha Developers Ltd. Banglore name but it’s a local setup. Tumsar is a quiet enough place but there's always something to build or fix. Our office is simple. We don't have any shiny glass walls or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and a lot of folders. The heat in Maharashtra can be tough in the summer, so we usually start early to beat the sun. My staff and I spend a lot of time on the phone or out at the actual work sites. It’s about getting the walls up straight and making sure the supplies arrive on time. Sometimes the trucks get delayed on the highway, which can be a real headache. But that's just part of the job. We see the same faces every day at the tea stall nearby. People stop by to ask about construction work or just to say hello. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. Dealing with the local authorities and getting permits takes up a good chunk of the week. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do. We like being near the temple; it keeps the area feeling peaceful even when we are busy.
