Sawli Hospital

Sawli Hospital is located in the Rajgpalachari Ward, right near the Sai Mandir. It’s more of a nursing home setup than a giant medical center. The building is simple and sits on a street that gets quite a bit of foot traffic from people visiting the temple nearby. We have a few rooms for patients who need to stay for a day or two and a small area for outpatient visits. The atmosphere is generally quiet, though you can hear the temple bells at certain times of the day. Our staff is local, and most of them have been with us for years. We do not have a high-tech lobby with TV screens; instead, we have some wooden benches and a desk where we handle the registration. It is a very practical place. We deal with common illnesses, minor injuries, and basic maternity care. The walls are painted a plain off-white color, and we keep the windows open when the weather allows for some fresh air. It feels more like a house than a cold institution, which I think helps the patients feel a bit more at ease. We don’t go in for big advertisements or promotions. The people in the ward know we are here if they need us for something. It is just about being a reliable part of the neighborhood. We show up every day, take care of whoever walks through the door, and try to keep things running.
