Naukarkar Dental Clinic

We set up Naukarkar Dental Clinic right here in Pouni because we saw folks really needed a place close by. Being right in front of the Government Hospital makes it easy for people to find us, even if the road gets a bit crowded during the day. It’s not a huge place, just a simple setup where we handle things like toothaches and check-ups. Most days start early when we open the shutters and get the water running for the chairs. My assistant usually arrives a few minutes late because of the bus, but we manage. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve seen kids grow up and bring their own kids in. The waiting area has a few old wooden chairs and some magazines that nobody really reads anymore. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we have the backup generator ready just in case. It gets pretty dusty with the traffic outside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass and the equipment. We don't have fancy decorations, just the basics that a dentist needs to get the job done right. People stop by after they visit the big hospital across the street, sometimes just to ask for directions or a glass of water. It’s a busy little corner of Pouni, and we’re just glad to be part of the daily routine here. We try to keep things quiet inside so people can relax, even with the horns honking outside.
