Indi Sahyog Pariwar Foundation

We are located at House Number 651 in the Gandhi Ward of Wadsa, Gadchiroli. Living and working in a place like Wadsa is quite different from being in a big city. It’s much more connected to the land and the people around us. The Indi Sahyog Pariwar Foundation is basically run out of this house. Gandhi Ward is a quiet area for the most part, though you’ll hear the local sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. Our address, 441207, is where we handle all our affairs. The house is old but sturdy, and we’ve set up one of the front rooms as our main working space. It’s got a couple of wooden tables and some old fans that have seen better days. We don't have any fancy technology, just the basics to keep us going. Being in Gadchiroli means we are far away from the corporate world, and we prefer it that way. We know our neighbors by name and they know what we are doing here. It’s not about having a polished image; it’s about being present in the community. When the rain comes, it gets really loud on the roof, and we often have to stop talking for a bit. We drink a lot of tea and spend our afternoons planning and talking. It’s a simple, honest way to run things. We are just a small group of local people working from a home in Wadsa.
