Indal Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Tumsar. We have a small office at House No. 5 in the Sahar Ward. This is in the Bhandara district. We’re a collective of farmers from this area. Bhandara is known for its agriculture, and we’re just a part of that long tradition. The office isn’t much to look at, just a room where we can sit down and talk business without the sun beating down on us. Most of the time, the members are out in their own fields, but we meet up here to figure things out. Tumsar is a busy enough town, and being in Sahar Ward keeps us connected to what’s happening. We don't have any polished marketing slogans or fancy logos. We just have our names and our work. It’s a lot of meetings about things like seeds and weather and how to get a fair price. Sometimes it feels like we’re just swimming in paperwork, but that’s part of the job. We aren’t trying to be some big corporate entity. We’re just local people who know the land. If you come by the ward, you’ll likely find someone hanging around the office. We keep it honest and straightforward because that’s the only way we know how to do things. It’s hard work, but we’re used to that. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to stay and keep working with the farmers.
