Eco Bricks

Down here in Lakhani, things move at a certain pace, and we’re right in the middle of it at Eco Bricks. You’ll find us over at Kamlesh Waghaye’s place. It’s a simple setup, really. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s mostly just us out in the yard, getting the work done. The Taluka is quiet enough most days, but we stay busy with the orders that come in from the local builders. It gets pretty dusty, especially in the dry season when the wind picks up, but that is just part of making bricks. We don’t really do much advertising around here. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors or see the trucks moving through the village with our loads. Kamlesh keeps an eye on everything, making sure the piles are stacked right and the deliveries go out when they are supposed to. Sometimes we get a bit behind when the weather turns bad, but we catch up soon enough. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. If you’re passing through Lakhani, you can’t really miss us if you know where Kamlesh lives. We’ve been here for a bit now, just trying to provide what the local folks need for their houses and walls. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. So yeah, that is pretty much us. We just keep stacking them up.
