Deshmukh Garments Manufacturing Llp

We are based out in Wadegaon. It’s a small place in the Bhandara district. Being in a village like this means things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We have our manufacturing setup here near the Bhendala post. It’s mostly local people working with us. We make garments, mostly basic stuff that people need every day. The machines make a lot of noise during the day. It’s a sound we’ve gotten used to over the years. Some days the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit. We use that time to sit outside and talk. The air is better here than in Mumbai or Nagpur. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do our work and send the bundles out. My uncle started this and now we are just keeping it running. The building is simple, just bricks and a tin roof. We keep the fabric rolls stacked in the back room. It’s dusty work but it’s honest. We don’t really do any big advertising. Word spreads by mouth around the tahsil. Sometimes people come by to ask if we have any spare scraps for rags. We usually give them away. It’s a quiet life in Pauni, just focusing on getting the shirts and trousers finished. We hope to stay here for a long time because this is where our home is. It’s a good way to live.
