We've been operating out of Shop No. 12 in the Tatya Tope Ward for a while now. Being right at Rajiv Gandhi Chowk here in Bhandara makes it a spot most people recognize when they’re passing through. It’s a multispeciality setup, so we end up seeing all kinds of things throughout the week. Sometimes it’s just a regular check-up and other times it’s more serious stuff that needs a few days of staying over. The building isn't huge or anything, but we’ve managed to fit in the departments we need. We’re in the 441904 zip code area, and most of our staff grew up around these parts, so there’s a lot of local talk in the hallways. Dealing with the paperwork and the medicines takes up a lot of our time, but that's just how a hospital goes. You see a lot of different people in the waiting room, from kids to the elderly. We try to keep the place clean and tidy, though with so many people coming in from the dusty streets, it’s a constant job. There isn't any big corporate office behind us; it’s just the team here on the ground. We handle the emergencies and the routine visits as they come through the door. It’s a busy life at Rajiv Gandhi Chowk. We just focus on the patients who are standing right in front of us that day.
