Out here in Sonia Vihar at Plot No. E-21, things stay busy. The main road is always packed with traffic. Being near the bus stand means there is a constant flow of people walking past our door. We do a lot of tech work on cars. Mostly engines and electrical stuff that keeps people frustrated. It can get loud with all the horns honking outside. The shop isn't very big, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Sometimes we have cars lined up all the way to the edge of the road. My clothes always have some kind of stain on them, but that's just the job. We've been in this part of Delhi for a bit now. You see the same faces every morning when the buses start running. Some people just stop by to ask for directions since we are right on the main road. We don't mind. It's part of being in the neighborhood. The heat in the summer makes the workshop feel like an oven, so we keep a big fan running all day. It doesn't do much but it helps. We just focus on getting the vehicles back on the road so people can get to work. It’s plain and simple work, nothing too complicated about the way we run things here. When the sun sets, the bus stand gets a bit quieter, and we finally get to finish up the last few jobs and go home.
