Agromin Trading Pvt. Ltd. is based in Daulatpur Village, within the Bhagyanagar Block. We are situated near Phaphund Road, which is the main artery for transport around here. Being in a village setting, things move a bit differently than in the big cities. The air is a bit clearer, but the roads can get quite muddy when it rains. Our work is mainly about trading and moving agricultural goods from one place to another. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the yard checking the quality of the loads. The warehouse is a big, open space that stays cool in the winter but gets quite stuffy during the summer months. We have a small office tucked in the corner where the ledger books and some old chairs stay. It is not a place for suits or fancy ties. Most of us wear sturdy boots and clothes that can get a bit of dirt on them. We watch the trucks come in from Phaphund Road and head back out toward the bigger markets. The pace is steady but can get hectic when several deliveries arrive at once. We know the local farmers and the drivers well. It is a community where a handshake still means something. We just keep doing our bit in the trading chain day after day, making sure the records are kept and the bags are counted. It is honest work that keeps us very busy.
