Bhagalpur is where we are based, specifically over in Surya Lok Colony in the Bagbari area. Our building is number 1204, and it sits right in the middle of a residential stretch, so things are usually a bit quieter here than at the main truck terminals. We have a small team working out of this Mirjanhat office. Most of the day is spent checking on where the vehicles are and writing down log entries by hand or on the computer. The Bihar heat can be something else, so we usually have the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through. There are always stacks of registers lying around because there is a lot to keep track of when you’re moving things from one state to another. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and the locals in Surya Lok know us as the transport people. We don't have a big corporate setup here, just some sturdy tables, chairs, and a lot of tea being drunk throughout the shift. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just have to wait it out while we chat about the news or the weather. It is a simple way of working. We aren't doing anything flashy, just making sure the goods move from point A to point B. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the colony.
