Samrendra Foundation

Our little office for Samrendra Foundation is located over in Adampur Jagdishpur. If you know the area, you probably know where Tapaswi Hospital is. We are right behind it on SCB Road. It is a busy enough street but we are tucked away a bit at Moujama Kothi Raja. Being near a hospital means there is always people coming and going. We see families from all over the 812001 zip code area passing by every day. Some of them look tired and some look worried, so we try to be a friendly face in the neighborhood. We started this foundation because we saw how much work needed to be done right here on our own street. We don’t have a flashy website or a big marketing team telling us what to say. We just open the doors in the morning and see who needs a hand. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about how the town is changing. Other days are frantic and we are running around trying to get things sorted. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we do our best with what we have. Most of the people who help out live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. It feels more like a group of friends working together than a formal office. We like it that way because it keeps things simple and real for everyone involved in the daily work.
