Our business, Rajendra Roy Exporters Private Limited, is situated in Bhagalpur. We are specifically located in the Sikanderpur area of Patel Nagar, near the water tank and Mirjanhatt. Most locals know the landmark near the pani tank. We handle exporting various goods from this region to other places. It is a busy operation and we usually have people coming and going all day. The office is practical and set up for work, not for showing off. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of ledgers. Bhagalpur is known for its trade and we are just one part of that long history. We spend a lot of time checking quality and making sure everything is packed correctly for the journey. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when we have a big shipment going out. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just focus on the task at hand. My nephew handles the computer stuff and I do the talking with the suppliers. It’s a straightforward way of doing things without any unnecessary complications. We usually have a bit of a crowd around during the morning hours when the trucks arrive. It’s a lot of shouting and heavy lifting.
