Our foundation is located in Sekhpura Nista, which is a bit of a journey to get to. It’s in the Kadwa block, specifically in the Baliabelown area. You have to go via Barsoi to find us. Quaiyum Al Madad Surjapuri Welfare Foundation is rooted right here in this local community. We don’t have a fancy building or anything like that. We operate out of a simple place at Sekhpura Nista. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the daily struggles of the local people well. It’s a quiet spot, mostly fields and small houses. We spend our days talking to the villagers and seeing what is needed in the PS Baliabelown area. It’s not corporate work; it is just looking out for one another. We don’t have a big budget, just a lot of heart for our own people. When people come to us, they know they are talking to their own neighbors. We speak the same language and understand the local problems. Sometimes it gets a bit lonely out here so far from the main roads, but we like the peace and quiet. We are just trying to make life a little better for the folks in Kadwa. It is slow going, but we don't mind that much. We are patient people. Our door is always open to anyone from the village who needs to talk or needs some help with something. That is just how we do things in Sekhpura Nista.
