You can find Om Sai Shringar & General Store in the village of Champanagar. We are part of the Nathnagar taluka and we are located very close to the railway station. It is a good spot because people getting off the train often stop in for a few things. We carry a mix of shringar items and general stuff that people need for their daily lives. The shop is small and crowded with shelves, but we know where everything is. It’s a family business, so you will usually see one of us behind the counter. We’ve lived in Champanagar for most of our lives, so we know nearly everyone who walks through the door. The sound of the trains passing by is just a normal part of our day. We don't have a computer to track our sales; we just use a simple paper ledger. It works fine for us and we've never seen a reason to change it. We don't spend any money on ads or flyers. People find us because we are near the station and we’ve been here so long. It’s a plain, honest shop and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than that.
