Nowshina Handloom Fabrics

You can find us in Narga Bazar, over in the Champa Nagar area. Nowshina Handloom Fabrics is a place where we focus on traditional weaving and fabric work. It’s a very local operation. The building is old and tucked away in the market area. We spend our days surrounded by looms and piles of thread. It’s a rhythmic kind of work. Champa Nagar has a long history with cloth, and we are just trying to keep that going. The air in the shop is usually full of lint, and the light comes in through small windows. We don't have a website or a fancy catalog. If people want to see what we have, they usually just come to Narga Bazar. We work with our hands mostly. It’s slow work, and you can’t really rush it. Some days the humidity makes the yarn act up, which can be annoying. We are a small team, mostly family and a few neighbors. We don't have big meetings or corporate goals. We just want to finish the fabric on the loom and start the next one. It’s a simple way of living. The market can be loud and chaotic, but inside the shop, it’s mostly just the sound of the looms clicking. We like being part of the community here. It’s where we belong and where we do our best work. It’s just us and our threads in Champa Nagar, keeping things moving along as best we can.
