Neeraj & Co. is situated in Word No. 4 of Champanagar, over in the Nathnagar area. We are quite close to Mundi Chowk, which is a major landmark around here. The area is usually bustling with activity. Our building is a simple one, right there in the middle of the local life. We don't go in for anything fancy or corporate-looking. It’s a place where we work and where people come to talk business. Champanagar has a lot of history and you can feel it in the narrow streets. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Most of our day involves managing supplies and talking to people from the nearby villages and neighborhoods. It’s not always easy, especially when the weather is bad or the roads near Mundi Chowk get blocked up with traffic. We have a small staff and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s cleaning up or moving stock. We don't have a mission statement or any of those modern business phrases. We just know what we need to do each day and we try to do it right. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when things are slow and just watch the people go by. It’s a steady life. We like being part of the local scene in Nathnagar and serving the people who live and work around here. It just feels right.
