M/S S.K. Tekriwal

M/S S.K. Tekriwal is located right in the middle of Bhagalpur. If you find Hotel Sadbhawna on AC Road, you just head up to the 5th floor. That is where we are. Being on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view of the city, though it is mostly just rooftops and water tanks. The AC Road is always jammed with people and rickshaws, so it is quite a climb to get away from the noise. We do not use the elevator if it is acting up, which happens sometimes. The office is pretty open. We have a few big windows that let in the sun, maybe a bit too much sun in the month of May. Bhagalpur-812002 is the address for any letters you send. We have a small corner for making tea and a big table where we spread out all our papers. It is a busy atmosphere because of the hotel location. People are always coming in and out of the building downstairs. We just stay up here and keep track of everything. It is a bit of a trek to the top every morning, but it is quieter than being on the street level. We have some old posters on the walls and a lot of folders stacked up in corners. It is a working office, not a showroom. We just show up, do the books, talk to the vendors on the phone, and head home when the sun goes down.
