M/S. Krishna Prasad & Co. {Road Construction Dept.}, Nawada

Our office is located in Bhagalpur, over on Satish Sarkar Lane in the Adampur area. We operate out of Guhavilla, which is part of the S.N. Upadhyay property. Being in the road construction department means we are usually out on the dirt or watching the tar being laid, so the office is mostly for the paperwork and payroll stuff. M/S. Krishna Prasad & Co. has been doing this kind of work for some time now. We handle the local roads and infrastructure around the Nawada and Bhagalpur region. It isn't easy work, especially when the weather isn't cooperating, but we get it done. The equipment is usually parked elsewhere, but this is where the planning happens. You can find us near the Binod Goenka house. The street is a bit narrow sometimes, but that’s just how it is here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. Most people know us because they’ve seen our trucks or know someone we worked for. It’s a small group of guys who know how to handle the machinery and get the levels right on a new stretch of road. We're just local people building things for the community. Sometimes the coffee in the office is the only thing keeping us going during the busy season when everyone wants their road finished before the rains come. It's honest work and we try to do it right without making a big fuss.
