This part of the business for Meghalaya Cements Limited is run by the family of Manmohan Lal Das. We are located in a small village called Maheshram, which falls under the Pirpainti post office in the Bhagalpur district of Bihar. Being out here in a rural area is a lot different than being in the big cities. Life moves a bit slower, and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We work out of a simple setup here. It is mostly about getting the cement to the local farmers and builders who are putting up houses or sheds. The roads around here can get pretty muddy when it rains, so logistics is always a bit of a gamble. We don't have a big staff.
