Operating out of Bhagalpur, things are usually moving pretty fast around here. We spend a lot of time on the phones talking to drivers or checking the routes for the next day. It is not like those big travel websites where everything is automated; we actually talk to people and figure out what they need. The office is small, mostly just some chairs and a desk covered in papers and notebooks where we keep track of everything. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we go back to the old ways of writing things down in the registers. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands, which helps when people ask for advice on where to go. There is always someone coming in to ask about a booking or a car rental. We handle a bit of everything, from short local trips to longer journeys out of the city. It gets dusty in the office with the door open, but we like being able to see what is happening on the street. It is a lot of coordination and making sure the cars are in good shape. We don't have a big marketing team; it is just us doing the daily grind of travel planning. If a driver is late or a car breaks down, we just have to find a way to fix it quickly. We keep a pot of tea going all day and the drivers often stop by for a chat before heading out again. It is a busy life, but it keeps us on our toes.
