A. P. Exim

We’ve been here at A. P. Exim for a while now, tucked away on G. C. Banerjee Road. If you know the old hospital area, we are situated right behind it. It’s a quiet enough spot most mornings until the delivery trucks start arriving and things get moving. We spend most of our time dealing with the paperwork and moving stock around the warehouse floor. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a place where we get the daily job done. Sometimes the road gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but we are all used to it by now. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just find us because they’ve heard about us from someone else in the local trade. It is a simple setup with a few desks and a lot of boxes stacked up. We handle a lot of different things throughout the week. Some days are much busier than others, especially when a big shipment comes in late in the afternoon. We just stay until everything is sorted out and ready for the next day. There’s a small tea stall just down the lane where we usually take our breaks. It’s a practical way to spend the day, really. We try to keep things organized, though with so much coming and going, it can get a bit cluttered. We’ve stayed in this same building because it works for us.
