M/S Vaskar Talukdar & Co.

We have been running things here on Bhadreswar Station Road for quite some time now. M/S Vaskar Talukdar & Co. is basically just a small office tucked away in a busy part of town near the Angus post office. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets when the trains pull in. There is always noise from the station and people rushing past our door to catch their commute. Our space isn't very big or fancy. It has old desks and stacks of papers that we try to keep organized, though it feels like a losing battle sometimes. Most days are spent talking to locals and handling the usual business that comes our way in Bhadreswar. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the daily routine to worry about that. My family has lived in this part of West Bengal for generations, so we know everyone around here. We open up early in the morning just as the first few shops on the street start pulling up their shutters. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, but that is just part of being so close to the station. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until the sun goes down over the tracks. We just do what needs to be done.
