Pradipta Drinks

We operate out of Village Barapada, which is in the rural part of the Bhadrak district. It is quite a long way from the main city. Our place is basically a large shed where we handle all the drinks and the bottling. Being in a village like this means things move at a much slower pace than the town. We depend a lot on the local power supply, which can be a bit tricky and goes out quite often. We have a few local guys from the village who come in to help us with the loading and the unloading of the crates. We don't have big fancy trucks, just one small tempo that goes around the nearby village areas. The yard outside is mostly dirt, so it gets very muddy whenever it rains. We spend a lot of our time just cleaning the equipment to keep it right. It is important to keep things tidy even if the surroundings are a bit rough. We mainly sell to the small shops around the tehsil. The owners know us personally and we know them. It is a local business through and through. We don't have a website or anything of that sort. If someone wants to talk to us, they just have to come to the village and ask for the drinks place. We have been here for a while and don't have any plans to move. It is hard work, especially in the summer heat.
