Samreen Welfare Foundation

You can find us over at Samreen Welfare Foundation in the Kotalmohalla area. We’re based in Guzidarada, which is part of Bhadrak. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot going on. Our office is a small building that’s seen better days, but it serves us well. We don't have any fancy signs or big posters. Most people just know where we are by word of mouth. Inside, it’s pretty basic—just some desks and a few cupboards for our files. We spend a lot of time working with the local families and trying to help out where there’s a need. It’s not easy work, and we don't always have the resources we want, but we make it work. Some days we’re just sorting through donations or filling out forms for people who need assistance. We aren't a big organization with a lot of money. It’s mostly just us using our own time to keep things running. The streets around Kotalmohalla can be narrow, so it’s usually better to walk if you’re coming to visit. We try to be here every day, but sometimes we’re out in the community and the office stays shut for a few hours. We don't have a fancy way of doing things. We just talk to people, listen to their problems, and see if there’s a way we can help. It’s just local people helping other local people. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Bhadrak.
