Sai Suppliers operates out of the space here in Bhadrak at Naya Bazar, and we also deal with things over at the Owners Industrial Estate on Gabriel Road in Mahim West. The Mahim location is right near the Andhra Bank, which is the easiest way to tell people how to find us. The industrial estate is always humming with the sound of engines and people shouting over the noise of machines. Our space is mostly concrete floors and high ceilings to keep the heat from getting too bad during the summer months. We deal with various industrial supplies, so there is always a lot of metal and heavy plastic around the loading area. It’s a dusty environment and our boots are usually grey by the end of the shift. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; you just walk in and find one of us near the back loading dock or checking the shelves. There’s an old radio that stays on most of the day, mostly just playing the local stations for background noise. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the counts on the pallets are correct before the trucks pull out. It’s steady work that doesn't change much from year to year. We know the regular drivers by name and usually have a quick word with them about the traffic before they head back out onto Gabriel Road. It’s a plain and simple business.
