Our place is tucked away near Banta Chhaka in Bhadrak, and we have the connection over in Tollygunge too. It’s mostly just rows of computers and students trying to wrap their heads around tax numbers and ledger entries. Pradip Kumar Khandual runs things here, and it’s usually quite loud with the sound of keys tapping and people asking questions. We aren’t a big university or anything like that. It’s more of a local setup where people come to learn the actual skills they need for a job. The weather in Orissa can be a bit much sometimes, so the fans are always going full blast in the rooms. We see a lot of young people coming through, some of them nervous about their first job and others just wanting to update what they know. The desks are a bit worn out from use, but the computers work fine for what we need. Sometimes the power goes out and we all have to wait around, which gives everyone a chance to chat. It’s a very local vibe. We don’t have a big marketing team or a polished front desk. It’s just us, some software manuals, and a lot of practice problems to solve. We spend our mornings setting up the machines and the evenings locking up the gates. It’s a simple life of teaching and learning, and we try to keep it as down to earth as possible for everyone who visits us.
