Rugs Palace

Rugs Palace is based in Peerkhanpur, over in Sant Ravidas Nagar. We have been here for a long time. The place is basically a big room filled with rugs of every size you can imagine. We have wool ones, cotton ones, and some made of stuff I can't even name. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and mirrors. It’s more of a working warehouse. We spend a lot of time dragging heavy rolls across the floor. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We don't do any big advertising. Most people find us because their neighbor or cousin told them we have good stock. The building is simple, and the floor is just plain concrete. In the winter, it gets quite cold inside, so we drink a lot of tea to stay warm. We don't have a big team of sales people. Usually, it's just one or two of us here to help you dig through the piles. It can take a while to find the right color, but we don't mind the wait. We know these rugs well. We’ve seen the area of Sant Ravidas Nagar change quite a bit over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a quiet corner of Peerkhanpur and we like it that way.
