We operate out of Lakhanpur in Bhadohi, which most people know as the carpet hub of India. Our office is set up care of Shri Pradeep Jaiswal. It is a busy little corner of Sant Ravi Das Nagar. Being in Bhadohi means we are surrounded by the smell of wool and the sound of looms if you walk down the right streets. Rudra Collections is our way of staying involved in the local trade. It isn't a massive corporate setup with glass walls. It is more of a practical space where we can check the stock and meet with people. The address might seem a bit long on paper, but if you are in the area, everyone knows the Lakhanpur side. We deal with all sorts of collections and keeping track of everything is the hardest part. The paperwork piles up on the wooden desks, and there is usually a stack of samples in the corner waiting to be sent out. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just local people working in the textile industry, trying to make sure our bits and pieces are handled correctly. Some days we are out meeting weavers, and other days we are just sitting here in the office handling the logistics. It's a lot of manual work and checking things twice. Life in Bhadohi moves at its own pace, tied to the rhythms of the workshops and the shipping schedules. We just do our part in that big machine and keep things moving.
