Our shop is at number 9/435 in Valavayal. It is a pretty quiet spot most of the time, right near the Shiva Temple. You can hear the temple bells in the mornings and evenings which is nice while we are working. We have been in this location for a good bit of time now. It’s a simple building and we use most of the space for storage and handling the trade goods. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy out front. Most people who come here are locals who already know where we are. We keep a small team of people who know how things run. The days are usually spent moving crates and making sure the inventory is where it should be. Sometimes the weather gets a bit rough and we have to make sure everything stays dry under the roof. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable one for the people who need us. We sit out front sometimes when things slow down in the afternoon. Valavayal is a small place so news travels fast by word of mouth. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to get home at a decent hour. It is a straightforward way to make a living. We don't use any complicated systems, just pens and paper and a bit of hard work.
