We are over in Vivekanand Ward in Multai, which is part of the Betul district. It’s a quiet enough place to run a business like Yugam Nirman Private Limited. Most of our work involves local building projects around this part of Madhya Pradesh. We spend a lot of time driving out to different sites to check on how the foundations are looking or if the walls are going up straight. The weather around here can be a bit unpredictable, which sometimes makes it hard to keep the projects on track, especially when the rains start. Our office is just a simple setup where we handle the accounts and talk to the suppliers about cement and steel orders. We aren’t a huge corporation with hundreds of people; we are just a small team that knows how to put things together. Every morning starts with a quick tea and a look at the plans for the day. We’ve been working around Betul for some time now, so we know where to get the materials and which local workers are the most reliable. We don’t really bother with big speeches or making huge promises. We just look at what needs to be built and we try to do it the right way without overcomplicating things. It is mostly about being on-site and making sure the work actually happens instead of just talking about it in an office all day long.
