Padhar Ambulance Service

Padhar Ambulance Service is located right at Padhar Hospital in the H O area, Post Padhar. We are part of the landscape here in Tehsil Ghoda Dongri. It’s a more rural setting than the big cities, so the drives are often long and over some bumpy roads through the countryside. Our ambulances are kept near the main hospital building. We have a routine of checking the tires and the fuel every single morning because you never know how far you’ll have to go on a call. Ghoda Dongri is a unique area and the weather can change very quickly. Sometimes we are driving through heavy rain or mud to get to a patient in a far-off village. The office is just a simple room where we keep the keys and the logs. We don't have fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is done by hand in notebooks. The staff here lives nearby, so we know the local routes and the shortcuts very well. It’s a quiet life in Padhar until the phone rings. Then things happen very fast. We spend our downtime maintaining the equipment or talking with the hospital staff. It’s an essential thing for the people living out here. We don't have a marketing plan or any big slogans or ads. We just make sure the vehicles are running and that we are ready when someone in the tehsil calls for help. It’s hard work but someone has to do it for the community.
