M.K. Engineering Works

You can find us at Plot No. 29 in the Kalpatru Industrial Estate, right by Dhokali Naka on Kolshet Road. It’s a pretty busy spot in Thane. Our workshop, M.K. Engineering Works, is one of those places where you’ll always find someone hunched over a lathe machine or checking a blueprint. We do a lot of custom machining and repair jobs for other businesses around here. It’s a small shop, and it’s usually quite cluttered with metal shavings and various tools scattered around the workbenches. We don’t really have a front desk or a waiting area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of grease and deep in the middle of a job. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and we’ve seen Kolshet Road change from a quiet area to a very busy one. We don't use any fancy software for our work; we mostly rely on our experience and old-school measuring tools. It’s a simple way of working, but it gets the job done. We have a few regulars who have been bringing their work to us for years. We don't talk much while we're working because the machines are loud, but we always find time for a tea break in the afternoon. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to keep doing our engineering work and making sure the parts we make actually fit like they’re supposed to. It’s honest, local work.
