D K & Sons

We are D K & Sons and we’ve been operating out of Teen Lalten Chowk for quite a long time now. It’s a family thing, mostly. My father started it and now we are still here at the same spot. The chowk is always busy, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We deal with various items that people need for their daily work or building projects. It’s not a specialized boutique or anything like that. We just carry a bit of everything that seems useful to the local crowd. The shop is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that most days. We know most of the faces that come through the door. It’s the kind of place where you can just stop by and have a quick chat while you’re looking for what you need. We don't do much in the way of marketing or big signs. The name is on the front and people know what we do. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with the stock arriving and customers asking questions all at once. We just handle things as they come. It’s a simple life running a shop here. We enjoy being part of the community and seeing how the town has grown around the chowk since we first opened up. We just keep our heads down and do the work every single day.
