About Aditya Bricks Farm – Building & Construction Material in Bettiah
Out here in Yogapatti, things move a bit slower than they do in the big cities. Our brick farm is over in Ward No. 12, right near the post office. We are also quite close to the Ram Janki Mandir, so you can often hear the bells or the music coming from the temple during the day. It’s a nice sound to work to, honestly. It’s a small community and most of us have lived here our whole lives. We spend our days out in the sun for the most part. Making bricks on a farm means we have a bit more space than some other places, which is a lucky thing. We have to watch the weather constantly. If it looks like a storm is coming over the district, we have to move fast to cover everything up. Otherwise, we just let the sun do its job on the rows of bricks. It’s a lot of manual labor and our hands are always rough, but we are used to it by now. The dirt under our fingernails is just a part of the daily life. Sometimes we sit under the trees near the temple to eat our lunch and get a bit of a break from the direct heat. We don't have any big goals or fancy plans. We just want to keep making bricks for the people around here who are building their homes. It’s just honest work.
