Jeevan Jyoti Pathological Clinic

Out here in Jharpokharia, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We run this pathology clinic right in the middle of it. Most of our days start very early because that is when people want to come in for their blood tests before they go to work or start their chores. Jeevan Jyoti Pathological Clinic is a small place, kept very clean of course, because that is the nature of the work. We spend a lot of time with slides and tubes and making sure everything is labeled exactly right. It’s quiet work, mostly. We know most of the people who come in because Jharpokharia isn't that large of a place. Sometimes the equipment acts up and we have to wait for a technician to come from further away, but usually, we manage just fine. We don’t have a big waiting room, just a few chairs for whoever is next in line. The light in the clinic is bright so we can see what we are doing with the samples. It’s just a handful of us here making sure the reports get done on time. We don't have fancy brochures or anything, people just know us by word of mouth or because their doctor told them to come here. It’s a steady job and we take the responsibility seriously, even if the building itself is just a simple local spot where we deal with the everyday needs of our neighbors.
