If you walk down Badakhemundi Street in Berhmpur, you will find us tucked away among the other local shops. We are A Bc Diagnostics Pharmaceutical, located right here in Ganjam, Orissa. The street is always narrow and full of cycles and people moving about. Inside our place, it smells a bit like cleaning supplies and paper. We have shelves lined with various pharmaceutical supplies and diagnostic kits. It isn't a huge space, so we have to be very careful about where we put things. The light in the back room is a little dim, but we have a good lamp for when we need to read the small print on the labels. People from the neighborhood come in quite often, and we know many of them by their first names. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny website. We just have our shop on Badakhemundi Street where the fan hums all day long. Sometimes the cows wander into the street and block the way, which is just part of life here in Berhmpur. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure everything is in its right place on the shelves. It can be tedious work, but it is what we do. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the street lights start to flicker on, heading home after another long day of work.
