Our business, Rohan Karmakar & Co., is tucked away near the 22 Pally Durga Mandir. We are located in the Khagra area of Murshidabad district. The temple is a very big landmark around here, so most people don't have much trouble finding us. It gets really busy during the festival season, which changes the whole mood of the street. We’ve been working out of this location for a long time now. We aren’t some big company with a lot of fancy offices or a huge staff. It is just a handful of us here doing the day-to-day work. Our space is practical and mostly filled with what we need for our operations. We don't use any slick marketing phrases or have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up every day and do what needs to be done. The people in Khagra are good neighbors, and we’ve gotten to know many of them over the years.
