Our place is Lapp India Pvt. Ltd. and we are situated at Plot No. 98, J K, Jigani Industrial Are, II Phase. Being out in Jigani means a long commute for most of the staff, but it's where all the big units are. The facility is fairly large, though it doesn't always feel that way when the production lines are full. There is a constant hum of activity here. It’s an industrial area, so there are always trucks coming and going, and the dust is just something we’ve learned to live with. Inside, things are organized as much as possible, but it’s a working floor, so there are tools and materials everywhere. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or making the front look like a showroom. It’s about the work being done on the floor. The lunchroom is where everyone catches up, and the talk is usually about the commute or the weekend. We have a lot of different people working here, some who have been with us since the early days in Phase II. It’s a straightforward environment. No one wears suits; we mostly just wear whatever is practical for the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generators to kick in, which is just part of life in this area. We focus on getting through the daily list and making sure the shipments are ready when the drivers arrive. It's hard work, but we are used to it.
