Zuari Cements(Italcementi Group)

We are located at 73, Sri Gruhalakshmi Colony, in the I Stage of Basaveshwara Nagar. It’s right on WC Road in Bangalore. This is where we handle the Zuari Cements business, which is part of the Italcementi Group. Even though there is a big name attached, our day-to-day is pretty basic. We are in a residential-style area, so we try to keep things as quiet as possible, though cement trucks aren't exactly silent. The office is just a regular room with some desks and a lot of paper stacks. We spend most of our time coordinating with the site managers and the transport guys. Bangalore traffic is always a headache, so we spend half our lives on the phone trying to figure out where the lorries are stuck. It is a lot of coordination and simple math. We don't have any fancy posters on the walls, just a calendar and some notes tacked up. We’ve been at this 560079 zip code for a while now. The staff here are local folks who just want to get the job done and get home for dinner. We aren't into marketing ourselves. We just provide the cement and handle the accounts. If someone needs to know about a shipment, we look it up in the book. It’s a plain way of working, but it has served us well enough over the years in this colony. We just keep our heads down and work.
