You can find us over at Devalaya, which is building A-3 on the 3rd Main road in Indiranagar. It’s right there in Defence Colony, number 126. It’s a decent area, though the traffic on the main roads can be a real headache when we are waiting for a delivery. The office is tucked away a bit, so it stays a little quieter than the street outside. We usually spend the day going through invoices and talking to the contractors who stop by to check on their orders. It’s a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering the door to checking the stock levels in the back. The building itself has been around for a while and has that old Bangalore feel to it. We don't really have a big showroom or anything, just a practical space where we handle the business side of the cement trade. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the computers, but we just use that time to organize the files. It is a lot of routine work, checking the weight of the bags and making sure the truck drivers have the right directions. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood and how things move around here. It is just a regular workplace where we try to stay on top of the daily grind and ensure the trucks get loaded correctly.
